Ellsberg Books was founded
by Michael Ellsberg in 2007. It is pioneering a new model of
book publishing that celebrates, embraces and leverages the
power of electronic media and distribution.
Michael Ellsberg is a professional
developmental editor and book proposal writer. He was born in
San Francisco in 1977, and graduated from Brown University in
1999, Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude, with Honors in International
Relations. In 2005, he started Eye
Gazing Parties, which was covered in outlets including the
New York Times, CNN, and Good Morning America, and
which Elle Magazine called "New York's hottest
dating trend." He has studied salsa dance for the past
15 years, and has taught Cuban salsa dance as a hobby for 6
years. He currently lives in San Francisco.
